I got the last piece to my costume now. You've probably all figured out who I'll be for halloween, but I'm still gonna keep it a secret. ;-) I'll put up pics when I get some.

My first class of the year is at 1:00. An hour later I have an interview for the little convenience store next to the campus bookstore.
<sarcasm> I can hardly wait. </sarcasm>
I'm coming home this weekend, so I'll eventually leave here (maybe around 7 or so).

I took a drive out to Target today. Sadly, there were no new Joes there, but I did find a Star Wars accessory pack I hadn't acquired. But man, that Target is out in the middle of nowhere! How 'bout one a little closer to school, huh?

Unolympics were today. I attended the opening just to see what it was like and somehow ended up doing the Thurgood Marshall dance routine that I didn't know. Hope nobody noticed...

Today's weather could accurately be described as "The Return of the Terrible Fog!" Like a swarm, it descended upon campus, at noon no less, and remained within its hills and valleys to blanket the earth.
In other news, I just finished an interview for an on-campus job. I would be working the box office for UCSD, a nice job that I could walk to. Whoa... walking to a job is so totally a foreign concept to us Southern Californians... Anyways, we'll see how that turns out.

Let me just say one thing: I hate move-in day!! I moved about 3/4 of my stuff into my on-campus apartment Saturday. I spent the night at home, then drove up Sunday night in my car with the rest of my stuff. I just got my internet connection working now.
So I'm moved in at UCSD again. That little bout of homesickness I get when I go back to college has set in. I'm in Marshall Lower Apartment A-12, room 2. If you can, come visit me.

One of the air conditioner ducts in the house keeps rattling. Sounds like there's popcorn being microwave-popped in there. Freaky.

Added yet another custom to my Customs page.
I know, I know. You don't care. But this is Phil's G.I. Joe Page after all. I have to talk about it on this page sometimes...
In other news, I saw Chasing Amy yesterday. Throughout most of it I kept wondering when Jay and Silent Bob were gonna show up. That movie is more like a cameo for them! And Silent Bob's nowhere near silent... (Man, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back spoiled me!)

Just in case you were ever wondering what the hell he was saying, here are the lyrics to "Louie, Louie" by R. Berry:
Chorus:
Louie Louie, me gotta go
Louie Louie, me gotta go
Fine little girl she waits for me
Me catch the ship for cross the sea
Me sail the ship all alone
Me never thinks me make it home
(Chorus)
Three nights and days me sail the sea
Me think of girl constantly
On the ship I dream she there
I smell the rose in her hair
(Chorus, guitar solo)
Me see Jamaica moon above
It won't be long, me see my love
I take her in my arms and then
Me tell her I never leave again
Truly, a literary masterpiece.

My Customs Page
Well, long story short, I finally got a scanner that's worth a damn, so I went ahead and rescanned all my G.I. Joe customs and put them up on the website. So now you can finally see my customs as they were meant to be seen, not how they look when I'm not wearing glasses!

Man, I just upgraded my computer from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. I've been at this almost 12 hours now, and I still have some programs that aren't working right!

It's September, and I haven't done one of these for a while, so here goes! Random thoughts for the day:
I go back to school on the 21st. I'll be living on campus again, in a Marshall Lower Apartment. One of my dormmates is from Yorba Linda! But he's not my roommate. I get the guy from Arcadia. Go figure.
I'm almost done assembling my Halloween costume I started in November 2001. Only 3 things left to go. I'm not telling you who I'll be yet, though if you read all my past entries, you might be able to figure it out.
Why does it seem that earthquakes always take place in the middle of the night?
