Just did a massive update to the Customs page. I added 2 new figures as well as redoing all the pictures for the 12" customs.

Your website blows ass. I'm very sorry that you have not been blessed with the ability to create a website worth looking at. I will pray for you, that you may develop good web-building skills with practice and more effort.
Interesting viewpont, I wonder what he considers a "good" website. I rather like the sparse design on here, it gives a sense of openness on the page. Hell, I'd like him to respond to this and give some more details on why he doesn't like the layout. I don't get any feedback on the design.

Ah, Spring Break. Yet another chance to catch up on nothing, and I'm doing just that. Actually, I've been working on refining my 12" customs, so I've got a few needle puncture wounds on my fingers right now. It hurts to type! ;-) I'd like to get pictures of my changes on the website, but I don't want to use the scanner anymore for the big figures, the digital camera works best. Unfortunately, it's broken right now, so we're waiting for HP to send me a new one. Thank god for warranties...

At about 5 minutes 'til noon, I officially went on Spring Break. I got home about 90 minutes earlier, and with some final touches, uploaded a website for school from the home desktop. I didn't do this last night from my dorm computer 'cause I got a virus that caused ResNet to shut down my connection. Hours after I had gotten rid of the virus. And I didn't hear them call me because I didn't turn my cell phone back on from my final. Oh well.

So I just got back from my last final this quarter. I feel pretty blah about it, but as I've mentioned many, many times before this is pass / no pass, so whatever.... Time to get working on my paper!

Well, I've been procrastinating at studying again... This time I went back to that ol' stand-by distraction of mine: Counter-Strike! Boy, my game modifications grow leaps and bounds around Finals time....

Well, it looks like Bush is giving us 2 days before we start to get a lot of terrorist attacks. Joy.

My parents came down today, so I spent time with them for a few hours. We ate dinner at the Field, a nice Irish restaurant in the Gaslamp district (tomorrow is St. Patty's Day, after all). Other than that, my day was mostly uneventful. Here's to not studying!

Cool! I got an article posted on Fark! Stangely enough, mine actually has to do with my paper... I think it's easy enough to figure out which article's mine without me having to point it out.
You know, I think one of the first things I'll do when I get back home is work on improving some of my 12" customs. I've been looking around at other people's 12" customs, and I think I've gotten to the point where I can really modify the uniforms and accessories without fear of destroying them, so I hope that I can go back and make my current customs even better.
I had a few custom figures ready to go last weekend at home, but there was a problem with the computer, so I couldn't upload it.
In other news, I should be studying, but I'm not...

So I finally got around to thinking of a topic for my paper. I talked with the TA and he likes it, but there's a large amount of vague execution involved. So I'm avoiding writing on this paper until I figure out how to do it! :-P

Ok, so the weirdest thing happened yesterday. I turned on my desklamp on my rather crowded desk surface to get a little light for something I was working on. When I'm done, I forget to turn the lamp back off. No biggie, right?
Apparently, my lamp was way too close to my monitor because it actually melted part of the monitor case! No real damage done, except now I have a funny, discolored dent in the plastic that was by the lamp.

I finished my photography project today. That leaves me a week and a half to write my paper and study for my final. Wow, I'm actually NOT procrastinating!

It looks like I'm going to be spending quite a few hours in the photolab this week. I hope to have my photography final project finished by Friday, so I can then have the weekend to spend studying for my Poli Sci final and my ICAM paper.

Countdown to Final(s): 7 days.
I only have one test final, and that's in my pass/no pass class, but I should still get caught up on reading in that class. I'm finishing the film project as I type, but I've barely started on my photography final. And I have no clue what to do for my paper in Intro to Computing and the Arts!

I'm at home for probably the last time this quarter. I got to go home early, too, since the TA in my only Friday class called in sick. My film is for all intents and purposes done, but there are still a few shots that I want to go back and clean up. No biggie, but quality is an issue this time around. Sunday, I'll be at Burbank in the late morning/early afternoon for a G.I. Joe show. I don't want to call it a convention since it's just about ten sellers in a hotel basement. But it's fun. Later that night I'll drive back to UCSD.

Wow, I'm just now finishing the visuals on this video. Sound shouldn't be too hard, but it's time-consuming. Looks like I will have this project done by this week!

Well, I'm doing it. I'm attempting to make a school film using heavy amounts of the blue screen (well, in this case, green screen) effect. My printer is so going to run out of ink! (Yes, I'm printing off full pages of green. Not only am I crazy, I'm also cheap!!)

I'm hoping to get my final film done by this Friday. That way, I can spend all of next week on my photography final project. And a plus is that if I do finish my video by this Friday I can bring my tape home and show people all of my projects from this class. (I have a second video cassette here I can turn the final in on.)

Well, those three projects I talked about are finished now, ready to be turned in. Nothing left in these classes but the final projects, which is 2 weeks away from being due. So, Phil finally has some breathing room! Woo-hoo!
