Like many, I was less than impressed with Hasbro's effort at a Street Fighter II line. The only redeeming figures were Sagat, Dhalsim, and E. Honda. The Movie line filled in many of the holes, but still left a few figures to be desired. Here are my attempts to create those figures.

Going left to right we have:

Guile, who uses a 93 Guile head on a 94 Sonic Boom Guile Body. Modified the neck ball to fit into the torso and retain the spring-loaded gimmick.

Vega, who uses a 93 Vega head on a 94 Vega body - the simple reason for this is that the 94 figure didn't have the mask when I bought him, and he was expensive enough as is. I replaced the pull-string arm with one that uses the upper portion from an 85 Torch and the lower portion from an 85 Buzzer. Grinded off some molded details to better match his video game arm bands.

Ryu, who is mostly his 93 figure, but with 94 Ken arms and feet. Again, grinded off some detail from the torso to better match the video game look. The original plan was to cast 94 Ken's torso, waist, and legs in white for a better match, but this was the faster and cheaper alternative. I may still do it one day.

Zangief, who uses the 94 Zangief head for its longer neck, the torso from an 88 Road Pig, the arms from an 88 Wild Card, the legs from a 93 Balrog, the waist from an 87 Croc Master, and the feet from an 85 Sgt. Slaughter. Modifications made to the torso, waist, and feet.

And last but not least, Balrog, who uses the head and arms from a 93 Balrog, the torso from an 88 Armadillo, the waist from a 93 Sagat, and the legs from an 85 Sgt. Slaughter. On this one, I modified the torso and upper legs.

And now, a group shot I've wanted to do for years:
