Am I the only one who just wants to stay at home Halloween night and hand out candy? I know I'm a bit of a homebody to begin with, but I just want to veg out in front of the television watching holiday-appropriate movies. I don't even feel like dressing in costume this year. I was at Disneyland on Saturday and found myself in the arcade at the Disneyland Hotel. In a corner were some sticker vending machines. Nothing too unusual until I saw what they were selling - temporary "lower back tattoos." Yeah, rub-on tramp stamps. I... I have no words for the stupid! Monday, October 19, 2009
After a long absence, it's time for more Random Thoughts for the Day!: - Got a flat tire driving into a parking lot on Wednesday. Dad figures a low tire pressure had something to do with it. The tire has since been replaced. - My article about the Hasbro/Paramount Press Day has gone up. Feel free to read it here. - Boy, the Dodgers game today was a heart breaker. Really hoped they'd win that one! - Went to Frank & Son's on Saturday with friends, followed by lunch at Wurstkuche. Nice to be sociable every once in a while, isn't it? Sunday, October 18, 2009
My voice acting classes have been pushed back a few weeks, so I have nothing to report yet! I'm just kind of biding my time here until those begin. Still eager to go to classes, though, so don't anyone think otherwise! Friday, October 09, 2009
I had a very busy day today! Found myself in Santa Monica this morning for a Hasbro/Paramount presentation for the DVD releases of Transformers and G.I. Joe, and ended up in San Fernando looking at props! I'll have a write up at YoJoe.Com in a few weeks, so I can't really go into details until then. But it was a very fun time. But good gray, it took me nearly three hours to drive back home! Wednesday, October 07, 2009
On Saturday, dad and I finished the tiling of the back room at the LA house. Giving them a few days to dry in place, I took to grouting in between the tiles today. Happy to say, I finished that, too! The floor is finally finished! Once the tools and appliances are tidied up tomorrow, the room should look fairly impressive. Happy to see this place is finally getting finished. Still have to replace the water heater, add a ceiling lamp, affix curtains, and give the sliding door a catch before everything's completed. |
